I'm growing and healing mentally and spiritually.

This year I have encountered a situation that I had never faced before. I got hurt so bad by the person I was really in love with, which gave me a tremendous amount of insecurity that I had never thought would happen in my life. I remember Yung Pueblo said, “Insecurity will manifest itself as control, which blocks the flow of real love.” I have told myself if I really want to grow and heal, I have to embrace my insecurities and negative emotions. Emotional safety and maturity are the ability I have learned to feel my own inner emotions and identify my feelings while staying connected to the present so that my past behaviors do not take control. Learning how to let go of the old version of me is a difficult process but when I let go of old hurt, I will become more empathetic and compassionate.

When I give myself permission to heal from hurts, trauma, and pain, I’m going to reach the “next level” of a different me and my soul will get rejuvenated. So, whatever that means for me, it all starts with permission from myself and I know the universe will guide me in the right direction and lead me on the way to nourishing my being and nurturing my soul.

My Intentions

I set four different intentions for my growth and healing process:
